Congratulations to Team Hack Attack for taking home the WNL Championship last night versus Slice and Dice. Team Hack Attack was down 9 points with the final group yet to play. Curt Medina’s downtrodden walk up from the 9th green said it all. A 20-6 win on the final card resulted in a 5 point win for Team Hack Attack. The trophy is at home with the winners and will be nurtured with the respect it deserves until next year.
Congratulations to Andy Kim and Trent Mayberry for taking down Stan Hop and Ted Roberts in the finals of the two man match play. Kim and Mayberry had Hop and Roberts dormie going into the 17th hole. Hop rolled in a 30 ft putt for birdie to extend the match to the 18th, but Hop’s flat stick fell short on the next hole resulting in a push on the final hole and a win for Kim and Mayberry.
Those still playing in the match play events cannot catch Stan Hop who takes home the BMGA Cup for most points won on the weekend events. Congratulations Stan. You can pretty much buy everything at the Pro Shop with all of those chits. Updated cup points standings are below. These guys make the shootout on the weekend side.
