1-2-3 Event Recap

We had a hot, sticky, sunny day for the 1-2-3 on Saturday. We had a great field of 10 teams. Once again, in a 4-Man team event, the field was closely bunched….except for one team…Team #3 (Kim, Mayberry, Monogue, Brower, Ri.) fired off a combined 26 under par, 119 to win the event by 7 shots. The team was greatly helped by Mayberry career round 76 (it’s been verified as posted by the handicap committee…lol). With a 19 under par total of 126 Team #9 (Peters, Wethington, Susich, Justin) came in 2nd place. Rounding out the winners was team #5 (Pederson, Martin, Koppy, Cicic) with a 127, 18 under.

Hole Prize winners for the day were:

CTP #4 – Martin

Long Putt #6 – Wethington

CTP #8 – Pederson

Closest in 2 #11 – Koppy

CTP #12 – Steichen

CTP #17 – Monogue

Here is the complete prize list with amount each person won.

WNL Week 12 Results

After a 21 minute delay due to weather, we were able to avoid another rain-out…and groups even finished before dark.  Nice.  Thanks to the Brookview staff for being able to delay WNL this week in order to get us out rather than cancelling.  Big shout out to the early groups – thanks for sticking around instead of slamming trunks and going home. That’s why we do our best to NOT cancel early…forecasts change, weather moves fast, and this week we got it in without getting drenched or electrocuted.

2017 WNL Standings-Week 12

We still have 5 weeks left in the regular season (remember we’re making up a week on 8/23), and those atop their Divisions are just not willing to budge.  Foreplay (414.5), Fairway 2 Heaven (429.5), Range Balls (426.5), and Drive 4 Show (426.5) all stay on top and watch the others try and keep up.

Individual Low Gross:

  • Brandon Meder makes 4 birdies en route to a 34 on the back to lay claim to his $10.

  • t2nd: Don Grove (32) & Chris Wrecza (35) – 67 (back) $8.75 each
  • t2nd: Brian Beitlich (34) & Daniel Peters (33) – 67 (back) $8.75 each

2017 WNL Standings-Week 11

Weekly Winners

Individual Low Gross:

  • Dave Supalla – 34 (back) $10

Individual Low Net (odd weeks):

  • t1st: Todd Miron – 31 (back) $27.50
  • t1st: Mark Lange – 31 (front) $27.50
  • 3rd: Tom Scheunemann – 32 (front) $15

Weekly Hole Winners ($10 each)

  • Closest-to-Pin-in-Two #1: Craig Wethington
  • Closest-to-Pin #4: Nick Schultz
  • Closest-to-Pin #8: Dan LaManna
  • Long Putt #9: Todd Crandell
  • Closest-to-Pin-in-Two #11: Brian Beitlich
  • Closest-to-Pin #12: Brian Beitlich
  • Closest-to-Pin #17: Craig Wethington
  • Long Putt #18: Dave Supalla

Two guys nab two proxies this week, which is pretty selfish if you ask me! Beitlich throws a back-to-back darts on #11 and #12; and Wethington finished his first nine in time to jump on the other nine to help his team AND wins a proxy on each side…a rare moment indeed!

Guest Day Recap

On a lovely warm Friday some of the BMGA’s best and their buddies played in guest day.

The greens were fast, the rough thick, and the pins tight.

4 man scramble scores went from 58 to 78 playing from the Blues.  Team Stoner came in first place.

On course events on the par 3’s include Double your tickets, The Golden Ticket and Play Another One.

The event was followed by a raffle and prizes along with a great dinner.

Thanks to all the participants, the sponsors, and of course Brookview staff.
