Congratulations to Chuck Bernardy who finished strong last night to capture the WNL MVP award! Chuck was one back from Todd Crandell going into the final week, and finished strong with 7.5 points to Todd’s 4 to win by 2.5 Eric Berg was right there too, but fell short with 4.5.
Also congrats go to the top 12 in the WNL shoot out standings. These are established by summing each player’s top 10 weeks. You 12 are eligible to participate in the invitation only shootout that will be held on 24 September. (What a great Ryder Cup Kickoff Event). If you cannot make it, the next ranked player in the list will be offered your spot. Expect an email soon.
Your Shootout WNL Qualifiers:
There are 2 awards at the end of the WNL season that individuals can win.
One is the MVP. The MVP is one person with the most points won during the season.
The 2nd is the qualification for the year-end Shootout. 12 people can qualify, this qualification is based on the total points from each player’s 10 best weeks.
Here is where we are with 1 week remaining for both of these awards. It’s a tight one! Good luck.
Those still playing in the match play events cannot catch Stan Hop who takes home the BMGA Cup for most points won on the weekend events. Congratulations Stan. You can pretty much buy everything at the Pro Shop with all of those chits. Updated cup points standings are below. These guys make the shootout on the weekend side.
