WNL – Week 9 Recap

Well the forecast earlier this week called for rain, and that forecast was wrong (shocker) – a beauty of a night to tee ‘er up and let ‘er rip.  Not very much movement in standings this week, but some pretty big swings…

in the GVC West, Drive 4 Show was up a mere 7 points on Team Hack Attack heading into the week, but after the dust settled they ended up 21.5 points ahead.  D4S beat up on Foreplay 48.5-26.5 while THA lost to CTB 34-46.

Range Balls remained steady with a comfortable win over Young Gunz 45-35 to increase to 18.5 points ahead of WTF, who lost 38-42 to I Like Big Putts.  Zed Heads scored a whopping 49.5 points to lead the scoring this week, but with Range Balls big win they only gained 4.5 points and stay in 3rd.

Fairway 2 Heaven remains atop the BCC North by 27 points with another win, this time defeating Six Pack 44-36.  Young Gunz, I Like Big Putts, and Last Call have their work cut out the rest of the season chasing these freaks and their league leading 306 points.

The tightest Division after this week is the BCC South.  Foreplay lost as stated above, and the Loopers and CTB took advantage.  Loopers beat the defending champions, Drawshank Redemption, 43-37 to climb within 4.5 points of Foreplay.  Meanwhile CTB dominated Team Hack Attack 46-34 to climb within 8 points of the lead.  Last place Bald Man Brewing Co. jumped to only 22 points back (they were 43.5 back) with a huge win over Putt 4 Dough 48-27.

Obviously anything can happen, and there are a lot of matches left for teams to make a move – so nobody should feel out of the hunt.
