2026 Fall Finish Presented by Boston Scientific: Recapping the Drama at Brookview

The BMGA concluded the tournament calendar on Sunday, October 11, with The Fall Finish – Presented by Boston Scientific. Brookview set the stage for an 11:00 AM shotgun start, challenging an 18-team field in a test of teamwork and strategy: True 3-Person Alternate Shot.

With continuous rotation off every tee, no mulligans, and a 40% team handicap allowance, the format demanded consistent ball-striking, discipline, and trust across all 18 holes.

Wolter, Spielman, and Hearnen Charge to Victory (-9 Net 63)

Navigating the alternate shot format with remarkable chemistry, the trio of Brennen Wolter, Brian Spielman, and Kevin Hearnen captured the 2026 title with a 9-under-par net 63.

Their card was a masterclass in team scoring throughout the day:

  • Front Nine (Net 33): Set the tone early with a net eagle on the par-4 2nd hole and a net birdie on the par-4 6th.
  • Back Nine (Net 30): Delivered the highlight of the round on the par-5 14th with a net double eagle (albatross), before sealing the win with a net eagle on the par-5 18th.

Trailing close behind in solo second place was the trio of Patrick Hoffman, Pete Crane, and Larry Jocelyn, who posted a net 65 (-7). In addition to their runner-up finish, they recorded the lowest gross score of the entire field, firing an 8-over-par gross 80 with steady ball-striking across both nines.

Steve Slivken, Ted Roberts, and Ben Zurn rounded out the top three at net 68 (-4), fueled by an event-low front-nine net 31 that featured a net eagle on the par-4 5th hole.
