Sorry for the delay – but here are the final results for the 2018 Wednesday Night League!
In the Bassett Creek Conference, CTB runs away with the Conference title and the overall league points total with 691, even after losing their last week 38.5-41.5 to WTF. Congrats to the boys on CTB! In the BCC North, I Like Big Putts dominated Putt 4 Dough 48-32, but they still ended up 2 points behind the Division winners Mid-Round Crisis, who lost 39-41 to Par then Bar.
In the Golden Valley Conference, WTF wins their Division easily, but the real drama was in the GVC West. Par then Bar wins the conference with a total of 665 points, and Team Hack Attack finishes only 2 points behind them after a 45-35 win over Fairway 2 Heaven – those 2 points means they finish as the GVC Wildcard and cost them $40 and a first round bye! That division was a battle all year – congrats to new captain Alec Johnson and his squad of sandbaggers…I kid, I kid!
Also a shout-out to our WNL MVP, Mr. Craig Wethington! His 105 total points earns him $250 in chits. 2nd place was Randy Zejdlik with 96 points. I know there’s a lot of grumbling about the fairness of guys playing twice a week, but it’s hard to fault guys who step up to go the distance to avoid a no-show. Congrats Craig!
Shoot-Out invitations will be sent out after Weekend event points are figured out – the results could change based on guys that qualify for both WNL and Weekend event points, so stay tuned for those invitation later in September.

There are no Scorecards of Shame or Sponsors to run through this week, so wanted to thank you all for a great season! I get a lot of great feedback from you all – there is a lot of good stuff (so I can’t say this is a thankless job) but I also appreciate the negative/challenging/just-checking-to-make-sure-I-didn’t-screw-up comments/feedback I get in person or via email. I try my very best to get things correct each week, and it’s good to know so many of you double-checked my work and respectfully inquired about scores, rules, etc. each week…it’s greatly appreciated no matter how hard I roll my eyes, thank you all!
