    It was mentioned that a new Blue/White Tee Combination will be added for the BMGA weekend golf events. What will the handicap be for that tee combination?

    Hi Darin. Good question. Brookview was re-rated and sloped for all the tees, including the Member tees. So handicaps will be based off of the member tees. See the attachment for all the details. This poster is available at Brookview too. So, when posting your score, all these courses will be in the system, including the front/back nine versions of these. Hope that helps.

    As a side comment, when will the MGA/USGA stop referring to the tees by Gender. It seems that stating Men and Women goes against any policy to move toward different tee names like Forward, Middle, or Back Tees.

    As a technicality, the tees in the poster are not identified by gender, but by color. However, the slope and rating are different by gender. Men Whites are 69.6/129 Women Whites are 75.4/135. So the gender comes into play not on the tee name, but the slope & rating.
