On behalf of the BMGA Board it is with great sadness that we learned Phil Iskierka passed away last night. Phil is a BMGA Past President and BMGA Hall of Fame Inductee. Phil was in the BMGA for 10+years before moving to Tampa Bay FL area with Kim Straw in 2021. Phil was always welcoming to new players to the league and extremely influential in making the BMGA membership as strong and dedicated as it is today. The best of the BMGA Guest Day tournaments can all be attributed to Phil and his dedication to the league.
Rest peacefully Phil, you will be missed by all who met you!
I am at a loss. Phil always had a smile on his face and would warmly great you. He did a great job for the league and will always be remembered fondly. Thanks Phil.
Every time I ever spoke with Phil he had a smile on his face that he was intent on sharing with everyone around him. He was a friend, a hoot, a BMGA icon, and always will be.
