On what turned out to be a nice day (I’m told) 68 members tee’d it up for the True North Investments Greek Scramble.
The first team out of the gates of Towey, B. Barlow, Silberman and Sutton started out hot carding 3 under par in the first 2 holes, however they quickly cooled down not putting another birdie on the scorecard until hole number 11, letting the rest of the field close the gap.
Haws, Yakshe, Larson and Fiebig had a ho-hum start, putting together a 2 over par front nine, but made up lots of ground on the back where 5 birdies on the scorecards pulled them back into the running.
In the end it wasn’t enough to overcome the hot start by team 1, who ended up winning the day with a total score of +1.
