• All penalty areas on the hole are marked red, and are to be played as such (see USGA Rule 17).
  • Absent strong evidence to the contrary, a ball hit towards the green from the tee box which becomes lost, should be deemed as in the penalty area under the local rule for ball in water hazard.
  • All portions of the patio are out of bounds.
  • Out of bounds stake run the length of the patio fencing from the cart path to the right of the green to the edge of the 10th tee box. Using this line, the patio fencing is defined as out of bounds, therefore no relief is available from the fence as an obstruction. Also, a small portion of the top of the stairway to the left of the green is out of bounds, and no relief is granted from any part of the stairway that is out of bounds. Use USGA Rule 16, immovable obstructions for portions of the
    stairway that is in bounds.
