Week 6 Results!

I had the night off, but from what I heard, week 6 was windy.  Drawshank’s grip on the top rung of the ladder is slipping, scoring their lowest point total of the season with 36.5. Meanwhile, Young Gunz proceeded to score their 4th 40+ night in a row. But, taking second honors, only 3 behind Drawshank is Six Pack with 42.5 points.  Young Gunz drops a spot to third, but is only 3.5 points back from 1st.

Medalist goes to I Like Big Putts, scoring 49 points, 3rd highest one week total by any team this season, bringing them out of the cellar and into 15th.  Range Balls has turned into the range picker, taking a beating from their opponent the last two weeks.  Scoring only 2 better than last week, Range Balls brings in the bottom with 29 points and is now in last place.

The two-man-low-net game ended up as a Bernie Sanders’ supporter’s dream as 5 teams tied with a 68, each player taking home a $7 piece of the prize. Trent Mayberry, the low horseman here shooting a net 30.  The low gross game has yielded a back to back winner in Howie Hoffman, shooting a 35 this week.  Last week he had to split it, but this week he ousted Mike Ryan by 1.  Howie also took closest to on 4 again this week, as he petitions to rename the hole, “Howie’s Hole”.  Dan Olson took closest in two on 11 and wanted everyone to know that he was only 8″ away.  Seeing this, Doug Maday sat back in his couch and said, “I’ve seen better” (I’m referencing his deuce from week 5 on hole 11 in case you didn’t read last week’s write up).
