Thanks to everyone who was able to come out at play on somewhat short notice. The Brookview 16-man team travelled to take on the boys from New Prague Golf Club on June 27th. The day did not go as planned. The boys from New Prague used their home course knowledge and easily dispatched of the Brookview squad 17.5 – 6.5.
Only two groups on the day were able to pull out the win. The Sustad/Grove duo took 2.5 points and the Gallagher/Krasen combo was able to nab 2.0 points. The other 6 squads were only able to muster 2 points collectively. Shot of the day goes to Kelly Gallagher who almost made an albatross on the par 5 – 13th hole and instead had to settle for a tap in eagle.

Manion/Towey – 4 on #11; 2 on #12
Gallagher/Krasen – 3 on #13
Swanson/Jordan – 3 on #15
Hendrikson/Grupa – 3 on #17
We are still alive for the playoffs with our final match taking place on Sunday, August 1st at home against Braemar. The top 2 teams in each division will move on to the playoffs so if we win, we are in.
