Volunteer Spotters

I want to thank those that came out to spot last night and those who will spot in the future.
All – If you have not spotted balls before it can be hard. Sometimes you lose them off the tee. Sometimes they hit a tree and cannot be found. I know, I’ve done it.

If you are told your ball went out of bounds, you damned well better know the rules.
The BMGA has NO drop procedure for a ball known to be out of bounds.
If you take a drop for a ball out of bounds – that is loss of hole.

If your ball cannot be found, it is NOT the spotters fault.
These people are volunteering their time to the BMGA and do not deserve to be yelled at or criticized.
