We are excited to host our largest 2-person Match Play event that I can recall, with 36 teams, and Individual Match Play kicking off on May 20th.

Gross & Net Skins
Those who are playing on May 20th can enter an optional skins contest. We are doing both NET and GROSS skins. The cost is $5 per event type – i.e. if you want to do both NET and GROSS the total cost is $10.

Schedule
If you are NOT PLAYING your match on May 20th, we ask that all first-round matches are completed by June 10th at the latest. That means you should start working on scheduling your match ASAP.
What is the best way to do this:
- Figure out who your next opponent is. Go to the bracket listed above and find your name in one of the four regions.
- Once you know your opponent, find their contact information. You can go to members.bmga.org and login. The fourth tab on the top is Membership.
- Email or call them.
Don’t delay setting up the dates. It takes time to coordinate schedules, especially with four players.
What happens if I miss the deadline for each round? The committee will investigate and either flip a coin or pick a winner. Don’t force us into that please.
Handicaps
In Individual Match Play each player gets 100% of their handicap.
In 2-Person Match Play, per USGA Handicap Appendix C, each player gets 90% of the handicap.
You can use the USGA GHIN Application to determine this.
