Valleywood, down by the Minnesota Zoo, proved grizzly for both teams.
The Golden Team, after rising to 4th place last week got bitten by 2nd place University. Long story short, Hamm got 0 points, Slivken got 2 off the league President Schultz, Dan Olson shot a net 69 and still only got 2 points and Gary Scharmer got 2. That is a 6-18 loss dropping Golden to a T5 (with Braemar) position in the league.
The Valley team, after finally getting out of the cellar last week was fleeced by Greenhaven 5-19. Sifuentes, coming off his MPGA Sr. threepeat got 4 of the 5 team points by way of his net 76. Bernardy got the only other team point by halving the back 9. Steve Susich and Doug Diedrich both were shut out. The 5 point total drops Valley right back into the cellar. Greenhaven was a big mover, jumping 3 positions to 4th place in the league
Next week marks the 2nd to last regular season week and is at Como. Golden takes on 12th place Bunker Hills and Valley tackles host 11th place Como. Lets hope we don’t have another animalistic outing!
