The course has taken over 1.85 inches of rain thus far. The rain appears to have stopped. The current information is the following:
- The plan is to play league this evening. The course is wet and there are several places that you will need to be careful at.
- There are NO CARTS tonight. You should plan accordingly.
- We will play Lift, Clean and Place throughout the course. Remember, if a player is in the bunker, they can find the dryest place in the bunker and place the ball there. Everywhere else – except penalty areas – the player can lift, clean and if necessary find a dry place to hit from.
- The biggest problem holes are:
- Hole #3. There is standing water directly over the bridge to the left and right of the path. Near the 150-yard marker, there is water standing on the right side in the fairway and rough. Find your nearest point of relief.
- Hole #6. There is standing water in the fairway. It is worse than it was last week or this weekend. Find your nearest point of relief. There is a drop area near the 150-yard marker.
- Hole #16. There is standing water from around 160 to 180 yards out. If you hit into the tempoary water, you should drop the ball in a dry spot. If you are in the front half of the water, move forward. If you are in the back half, drop behind.
- The driving range will be open from 3PM to 7PM today to support the league.
