It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten time to put this post together, so I’m combining the Pink Ball, 2 Person rotation and an overall weekend standings update.
First off a big thanks to our sponsors CiT and Matrix NDI for the Pink ball and 2 Person Scramble! We have a full field of sponsors this year and it’s thanks to folks like this that we are able to double prize payouts for these tournaments.
Pink Ball Presented by CiT-
3 Teams ended up finishing with the pink ball this year, up from 2 last year! I personally think this is due to playing a wedge on hole 9 for every shot before the green for my team, even though it was maybe the worst score recorded on any hole as a result.
I want to thank everyone for keeping ball searches reasonable, pace of play was a major concern coming into this event and most teams managed to finished on or just over the standard 4.5 hours.
It all shook out like the below (Note golf genius doesn’t reflect who kept the pink ball, so don’t look their for scores or purse, I’ve manually adjusted season long points as well)
2 Person Scramble Presented by Matrix NDI –
The 2 person scramble got underway on Saturday the 25th with a full field of 26 teams teeing it up. This event is always tight and this year was no exception. 4 teams came in tied for first place with a net 10 under par, with 2 additional teams at 9 under. Had those two 9 under teams dropped a stroke each, we would have had an unprecedented 9 teams tied at 8 under. the full results can be found here: 2 Person Scramble Results

Weekend Event Points Update –
With the last few tournaments coming up in the next month and a half it’s a good time to check the standings for the year in the weekend event season points race. The top 12 at the end of the year will be eligible to play in the Shootout!
