We had a great day for the 2 man rotation last Saturday. We had a total of 18 teams in distributed into 3 flights. Overall scoring was consistent for the first 12 holes with most teams staying with a couple strokes of each other. However, it again came down to the alternate shot portion of the tournament that would determine the winners. As the scores started rolling in it was looking as if the first groups of players had posted some winning scores, but it would not last. In Flight 1, Lunetta/Wethington posted a nice 75 that looked to clinch top prize, until Beitlich/Grubb posted an astounding 73! In Flight 2, 80 was looking like a good number, until that was spoiled by a pair of 77’s. The Silberban/Bernt group looked to have solo 1st locked up until a lost ball on 18 lead to a disastrous 8, leaving them with a 77 and a tie for 1st. In Flight 3 Medina/Peters won handily with a sweet 81, followed up by Maday/ Klatt who took second with 84.
