Senior Team Suffers Defeat at Hiawatha

On a cool, rainy, miserable day our Brookview 8-Man Senior Team suffered it’s first loss of the season, narrowly being defeated at Hiawatha 6 1/2 – 5 1/2. The opening twosome Larry Hahka / Gary Ridout tied their match 1 1/2 – 1 1/2. The second group of Tom Hansen / Steve Hartmann defeated their opponents 2 1/2 – 1/2. They were followed by the Steve Slivken / Stan Hop team, which salvaged a 1 1/2 – 1 1/2 tie. Our anchor team of Roger Hamm / Paul Olson was defeated by Hiawatha’s strongest twosome 3-0.
