Eric Beitlich
I’m Eric Beitlich and I’ve been a member of the BMGA for 6 years and have seen and experienced the uniqueness of this league. It’s a special thing that needs to be taken care of by all of us. I feel it’s important for each of us to give back in some way to preserve and better these Wednesday’s we all cherish. I’d love a chance to bring my talents to the BMGA board.

Ken Hanson
Reasons to vote for Ken Hanson:
- I’m not an a**hole
- I have a high handicap, so wont kick out the higher handicaps
- I have done a fair amount of volunteering at various places- Edina Basketball Association ran all youth bb leagues, ran all concessions for Edina high school sports
- I’m not an a**hole
- I love the Grateful Dead
Matt Haws

Why do I want to be on the BMGA Board? Simple: I want to give back to the league that’s tolerated my baby driver and the sweatiest mitts east of the Mississippi. If I can hold onto a club in July and still smile, I can handle anything this board throws my way.
Golf’s in the family — my dad’s a starter at Brookview, which means I’ve got insider intel on tee sheets, slow groups, and who’s really fixing their divots. I love this league, the people, and the mix of competition and comedy that makes every round memorable. Between my background in marketing and my passion for keeping golf fun, I’m ready to help the BMGA keep raising the bar — or at least the bar tab.

Hello All – and thank you in advance for your consideration.
I’ve been a member of our league for 3 years and am passionate about ensuring its continued success. I would love to use my organizational, leadership and planning skills and experience to help maintain the high standard set by previous boards in running our league and its events, continuing to make this the most well-run golf league in the state.
I will also work diligently to help manage our budget responsibly, to continue the tradition of transparency and responsible use to provide the best possible experience for the league. I’m a strong believer in the importance of clear rules and guidelines, as they are the foundation of a well-run organization. I believe my commitment to these principles will help the BMGA thrive for years to come.

As a retired “senior” golfer, I believe I represent a significant segment of our nearly 200 members. I have lived in Golden Valley for more than 40 years and have been a BMGA member for over 20 years. I most recently served a three-year term on the board 2022-24 and am ready to serve again. I am uniquely positioned with recent organizational knowledge as we transition away from some very capable retiring directors.
I hope to help us maintain our reputation as one of the premier leagues in the Twin Cities area by meeting the needs and desires of our existing and future members with good value for social and competitive golfing experiences.

I am a long time member of BMGA and it has always been a very enjoyable part of my life. In the beginning I played most of the weekend events but did not partake in the Wednesday League as my office was quite far away and it was hard to get back to Brookview in time. For the last 20 years I have been a Wednesday League golfer, and still play a few of my favorite weekend tournaments every year.
- I want to serve the next term on the board for the following reasons:
- I also want to do this in honor and memory of my dear friend and long time BMGA guy Steve Binenstock. I brought Steve into our club about 15 years ago and he was a member until he passed away earlier this year.
- I am retired and have time to give back to this great club I enjoyed for so many years
- I believe I have good management skills and organizational experience I gained from almost four decades working career
- I am very good with numbers, spreadsheets, accounting, and enjoy working with various types of data. These skills are useful in many aspects of BMGA business
- I have a ton of friends in BMGA and know lots of members. And I live across the street from Brookview, which is helpful 🙂
