I know most of you who are planning a spring golf vacation have already traveled. I just wanted to share what I found to be a good deal. Not looking to lug my clubs through the airport I went on the interweb to check out shipstix and then wondered if you could rent a set. I found ClubHub. I rented a new Taylor Made M2 set with a spider putter. Stiff flex and left handed. Cost is $69 for the first day, and $20 for each additional day. So for $109 total I had the same rental set for three days. It was shipped to my hotel before I arrived and at the end I could have left it at the hotel or drop it off at the nearest UPS store. Quick easy and convenient. No having to drag your clubs through the airport of have your precious babies damaged in transit. I just packed shoes, balls, glove and tees. They use new clubs and swap them out every 6-9 months. They have the used clubs for sale on their website. If you golf and travel check them out.

Thanks Curt. I used shipsticks once and they lost my clubs for weeks. I had an extra shipping label in the hard sided case and the person that was supposed to do something with them was ‘on vacation’ so they sat. I had to intervene with UPS, Shipsticks did not represent me well. Good to know about this option.
