- The local rule for a lost ball generally should not be invoked on this hole for a ball lost along the left side, due to the relatively high probability that a ball lost is actually out of bounds.
- Flower beds to the right of the green should follow the local rules for a free drop.
- There is a French drain between down the right side of the fairway between the fairway and cart path.
Rulings
- The fence that runs along the left side is marked as out of bounds. Near the green, the base of the fence has rocks which are inbounds and players are allowed to take relief (see rule 16). Players do not get swing or stance relief from the fence. If during the process of taking relief, the player receives relief from the rocks, but the fence still restricts the swing of the player, the player does not get relief from the fence.
