Do you know what a Ringer Score is? The internet defines it as:
A ringer board or ringer report shows the best score each player has posted during a set time period for each hole on a specific course and set of tees.
Well good news is, we just happen to have a set time period and a specific course we can look at! So how does it work? Let’s say you have played the front-nine three times this year. And your scores on the first hole are a 3, 5 and 6. Your Ringer Score on Hole #1 is then a 3. Your lowest score. Repeat that for each hole and you have your ringer score!
What’s the best Ringer Score of 2021 so far? Excluding the 20 players in Wednesday Night League who have not yet played both sides after week 6. Here is your Top 10:

You can find all of the Ringer Scores below! Don’t worry – you don’t need to post these scores.
I can’t believe that Zejdlik out ringered me!
Yes…..I didn’t want to bring it up as the Z is on my team. But something is awry! No offense to Randy…but it was all low handicappers then him. I couldn’t figure out if it was gross or net.
So what does it mean that my ringer score is actually my best score at Brookie? I’m consistent or it was a good day?!
Don’t sweat it Roger, you out-ringered me!
RZ’s Ringer score shows a double eagle on #3 and a zero on #18. Perhaps that is why he is in the Top 10?
Always doubt the data.
Interesting. Garbage in and garbage out is the old saying in data. A double-eagle on 2 is possible. Knock it in from 220 out. A 0 on 18 isn’t possible. It means, somewhere along the line, someone mis-entered a WNL scorecard.
…let me go look at the data…
Yep. Week 5 of the 2009 season the score was entered incorrectly as a 0. I believe we need to get everyone back from the 2009 season and redo Week 5 immediately! 🙂
And apparently Jeffrey Olson had a 0 on #9 in Week 5 of the 2008 season. And Brent Nordstrom on hold #16 in Week 15 of the 2013 season. We have a lot of make-up golf we need to do.
Updated spreadsheet…
@Brian-Sutton shows 0’s for his career on every hole on the front.
Isn’t the reporting of an incorrect score a DQ for life?
