WNL Week 2 Recap (5/1/24)

Pace of Play: It seemed like we saw an improvement this week. Nice work everyone in keeping things moving!

Score Cards: We saw a big improvement in scorecard hygiene this week! Thanks for making my job a bit easier.

Areas of improvement:

  1. Tee Box: This should either be Member (or Blue / White) or Gold.
    • There were about 1/3 of the cards that either didn’t have this filled in or had 1 / 10 in that box.
  2. Handicaps: Continue to check your and your opponent’s handicap prior to teeing off.
    • Your handicap on the Front 9 and Back 9 may be different.
    • We had 5-10 people with incorrect handicaps on the card.
  3. Tee Time: Please complete this field, it helps us ensure we have all of the cards in hand.

Scoring:  All scores have now been entered and posted to your GHIN.

Scorecard Hall of Shame (First Nominee):

  • First and Last names are helpful to have on the card to ensure scores are assigned to the right person.
  • Teammates should either both be on the top or both be on the bottom for recording matches.
  • Tee box should either be Member (Blue / White) or Gold. The card already says Front 9 on the top.
  • Other than these 3 areas, this card is perfectly filled out and legible. Close to Hall of Fame material!
