In the Pres / HOF Division (net) It was a tight match between Richard Brynteson, Curt Medina and Darin Allen. Richard’s par on #18 got him the 1 point he needed to win.
In the Gross Division, 5 time winner, Howard Hoffman had an early tee time and tried to hold on with his +16 points +16 was the lowest winning score and was set last year by Howie.
Richard Brynteson teed off almost an hour later and was chasing all day. His birdie on 12 got him to 13 points with 6 holes remaining. He got one more on #13 then stumbled in with bogies on 14, 16 and 17. Needing a par on 18 to tie and having to do that with an up and down fashion, chipping from near the bunker. He got it to a couple of feet and rolled it home to secure the T1.
In the Net division it was all Jeff Olson, getting a massive 20 points on the front 9 with a gross 42, net 31. He really stumbled on the back and only could get 7 more points, but the 27 points was enough for a 2 point win over Richard Brynteson and 3 points over T3 guys Curt Medina, Darin Allen and Charles Bernardy.
